Robbinsdale Votes to Acquire Land for New Water Tower
The Robbinsdale City Council voted this week to approve the acquisition of property to build a new water tower. The tower will be located between County Road 81, West Broadway and immediately to the south of Hwy 100. The land was previously used by MN-DOT in the reconstruction of Highway 100. Right now, that land is open space.
The new tank would hold approximately 750,000 gallons of water.
The future tower will replace the existing tower downtown. But don’t worry, the current tower will remain in place as a landmark.
