Robbinsdale Seeks Help to Identify Theft Suspect
Robbinsdale police are asking for the public’s help to identify a theft suspect. Police say the man they’re looking for travels by bike and is believed to be responsible for a string of recent thefts in the area of Highway 100 and France Avenue.
Robbinsdale police investigator Casey Landherr says while authorities have not made an arrest, they have “a good idea who he is.”
Landherr says one of thefts involved a bike cut away from a lock on a parked vehicle outside a business. Another involved a theft of packages from a homeowner’s front step. Security cameras captured both of the thefts, Landherr said.
“What we would like to be able to do is recover this stolen property,” said Landherr, to return to its rightful owners.
Police believe the suspect is also connected to other thefts. They say the crimes also serve as a reminder to lock entrances to your home, garage service doors and vehicles. An unlocked vehicle with a garage door opener in it is any easy way for thieves to gain access to a home, police said.
If you can identify the individual in the photo, call the Robbinsdale Police Department at (763) 531-1220. Reference case No. 20007614.
