Robbinsdale Schools Extends Distance Learning
Robbinsdale Area Schools announced this week that they would expand distance learning by another week.
A letter from the superintendent to parents said transmission rates remain high in the district’s nine cities and the district continues to experience a significant number of staff and student absences. The letter went on to say that with so many staff absences, the district couldn’t reasonably provide adequate in-person learning or services for our students. You can read the full letter here.
The first day back in-person is scheduled for Jan. 31.
Meanwhile, Osseo Schools says absences have improved and they plan to be back in class on Monday, Jan. 24. A letter from the superintendent said that it’s the district’s hope that future learning model shifts will be minimal and any changes would be done on a school by school basis. You can read that letter here.
