Robbinsdale Man ID’D as Victim Killed in Crash Caused by Car Thief
The victim of a fatal car crash caused by the driver of a stolen vehicle has been identified as a Robbinsdale man.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner says Andrew Hyde, 55, died of multiple blunt force injuries. The crash occurred the evening of July 18 at the intersection of Washington and 21st avenues north in Minneapolis.
Hyde, who according to social media accounts was a classic car lover, was driving a 1964 Chevy Impala at the time of the crash.
According to police, the driver who caused the crash was in a stolen Hyundai SUV. Police continue to look for the driver who ran from the crash scene.
