Robbinsdale Chamber of Commerce’s ‘Give and Get’ Brings Halloween to West Broadway
For the seventh year, the Robbinsdale Chamber of Commerce invited kids to put on their costumes and trick-or-treat at businesses along West Broadway.
“It’s fun to see all the costumes and all the kind people,” said one trick-or-treater dressed as a Dalmatian.
The annual event is called “Give and Get,” and participating businesses had a pumpkin in their window to encourage people to stop by. People were also invited to bring a donation for the food shelf PRISM.
“Robbinsdale Chamber’s Give and Get is one of our favorite events because we get a lot of kids and families out here,” said Kevin Lytle, community and engagement manager at PRISM. “Our numbers are up, we need a lot of food. We need a lot of help. We serve over 2,000 families in the area, so any help you can provide to any food shelves in the area is greatly appreciated.”
