Renovations Planned for Golden Valley City Council Chambers
Golden Valley hopes to start construction on a city council makeover early next year. It’s been 30 years since the chamber has been updated.
The city is looking at designs to improve the audio-visual technology as well as give the chambers a fresh look.
There are $400,000 budgeted for the remodel that’s expected to begin early next year. One change will be in the way the room is oriented. The city of Golden Valley hopes to make the space more flexible, so it can be used for other purposes, like city staff meetings.
