Possible New Names Suggested for the Earle Brown Heritage Center
Will it be The Barns, Ruby Red Farm or Red Farm Crossings?
The city of Brooklyn Center has been gathering information on the renaming of the Earle Brown Heritage Center. Brooklyn Center’s forefather came under scrutiny recently for possibly having racist ties. Brown’s name was also removed officially from a local elementary school, even though there’s still signage for the school.
The city hosted an in-person discussion on Dec. 7 and a virtual discussion on Dec. 14. The information was listed in the calendar on the city’s website.
The city also offered a survey for suggestions on a potential names and logos. The survey is open until Dec. 15.
