Portion of Highway 55 To Close Starting Oct. 4
Prepare for more closures this week near the Highway 55 project in Golden Valley.
Starting Wednesday at 6 a.m., Highway 55 will be closed to through traffic between Highway 169 and Highway 100. The road will be completely closed for construction from Glenwood Avenue to Highway 100.
The closure will last for 10 days.
The project involves replacing pavement and installing curbs, gutters and storm sewers.
The suggested detour uses Highway 100, Interstate Highway 394 and Highway 169.
