Police: Two Killed in Likely Murder-Suicide At Brooklyn Center Strip Mall
Brooklyn center police are investigating the deaths of two people found shot and killed Monday outside the Shingle Creek Crossing shopping center.
Police responded at around 11:40 a.m. Monday when officers in the area heard a gunshot. As they responded, they then heard a second shot, police said.
Upon arrival, officers found a man and a woman deceased in the parking lot at 1300 Shingle Creek Crossing. Police say one of the victims was in a vehicle and another just outside the vehicle.
Brooklyn Center police tell CCX News that the case is being investigated as a likely murder-suicide. Police also say a handgun was recovered at the scene.
The identities of the people killed have not yet been released.
