Police Search for Armed Robber at Brooklyn Park Apartment Complex
Police departments from around the Twin Cities northwest metro swarmed a Brooklyn Park apartment complex Thursday night trying to catch an armed robber.
Brooklyn Park police say officers responded shortly before 10 p.m. to the Autumn Ridge Apartments, located at 6328 Boone Ave. N., on a report of someone robbed at gunpoint.
Officers from numerous agencies conducted an “extensive” search, police said.
Law enforcement from New Hope, Plymouth, Crystal, Maple Grove and the Hennepin County Sheriff’s office all assisted Brooklyn Park police in the search.
As of Friday, police weren’t able to make an arrest and the investigation continues.
