Plymouth’s 25th Annual Primavera Becomes New Experience
Primavera is Plymouth’s annual springtime celebration of the arts. Held this weekend, it will be celebrate this year in a new gallery space at the Plymouth Community Center.
“This year we get to welcome people to the new space, so we’re really excited for the whole community to access space and see it for a whole month now,” said Alyssa Fram, Plymouth recreation supervisor.
The art will be displayed not only in the gallery but in nearby classrooms. There are more than 70 pieces of artwork from local and regional artists that range from professionals to students.
“I think the variety here that we get to showcase, there’s something for everyone,” said Fram. “I love how each painting, photo in the gallery brings a new emotion whenever you look at something different. So I think everybody that visits the space will find something like love.”
The juried show in the gallery will remain up until May 14.
