Plymouth Wayzata Youth Baseball Assoc. Makes Donation for Field Improvements
The Plymouth Wayzata Youth Baseball Assocation donated $634,000 to improve the ball fields at Wayzata West Middle School.
The association has struggled with having enough fields for play and practice. But adding new lights, batting cages, bullpens and scoreboards to the Wayzata West Middle School fields will help. The association can expand hours and opportunities for play.
A press release says the goal of the PWYBA is improving community baseball fields, working on player development, and striving to be a “best-in-class” association.
The school district says they are grateful for the donation, and accepted the check at this week’s school board meeting.
