Plymouth “Swears-In” New Police K-9
The new police K-9 is now officially on the job. The city clerk swore in Romeo at Tuesday’s city council meeting with a very creative oath.
“We know you will not only act as the eyes, nose and ears of officer Graubau, but that you will serve as an ambassador, breeding goodwill to all of our residents,” read city clerk Sandy Engdahl. “Every dog has its day. Thank you for showing us that everything is paws-able.”
The police chief was very complimentary of the new K-9 team.
Officer Quincy Graubau and K-9 Romeo graduated a few weeks ago at the top of their class. On the first night on the job, Romeo made a find that led to an arrest.
Romeo replaces Stryker who retired a few weeks ago. See his retirement here.
