Plymouth Shooting Victim ID’d as Brooklyn Center Man
Authorities have identified the person shot and killed inside a Plymouth home late Saturday night.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner says 20-year-old Abraham Barbly of Brooklyn Center died of multiple gunshot wounds.
Police circled the area for several hours in attempts to locate the person or persons responsible. Neighbors say the home located northwest of Bass Lake was being rented out.
The motive for the shooting remains unclear; a search of court records shows the victim did not have a criminal history.
Update at 5:59 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7:
The Plymouth Police Department announced that a 19-year-old Brooklyn Park man has been arrested in connection to the March 4 fatal shooting of an adult male in Plymouth. The man is currently in custody at Hennepin County Jail on probable cause murder.
