Plymouth police have arrested four juveniles who they say tried to flee in a stolen vehicle overnight.
The stolen vehicle was spotted in the area of Brockton Lane and Medina Road shortly after 1 a.m. Wednesday. According to police, the stolen vehicle was being tracked by the car manufacturer that helped provide the location.
When police located the vehicle, the driver fled and a pursuit began. Police say they eventually stopped the vehicle in Golden Valley after deploying stop sticks and disabling all four of the vehicle’s tires.
Police say the four occupants ran from the vehicle after it came to a stop in the median of Highway 55 and Boone Avenue. All four were eventually arrested with assistance from several law enforcement agencies and a police K9 unit.
Officers from the Medina, Golden Valley and Minnetonka police departments, the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and a Minnesota State Patrol helicopter all assisted Plymouth in making the arrests.
