Plymouth Man ID’d in Fatal Motorcycle Crash
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash as Kyle Petersen, 21, of Plymouth.
According to a report released Sept. 4 by the medical examiner, Petersen died of “multiple blunt force” injuries sustained in the crash, which occurred Aug. 16. Petersen was traveling on northbound I-35W near Cliff Road in Burnsville when he lost control and left the roadway, according to a report filed by the Minnesota State Patrol.
Petersen died Aug. 18 at HCMC, a couple days after the crash.
According to state troopers, Petersen was wearing a helmet, but it came off during the crash.
