Plymouth Man Charged with Theft by Swindle
A Plymouth man has been charged with theft by swindle.
Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman says David Abele took money from an estate where he was the executor. A will directed Smile Network International to get half of the estate, but the organization did not get all the payments.
Abele admitted under oath during a divorce proceeding that he took money from the estate to pay for personal debts. He is scheduled to be in court in November.
