Plymouth History Museum Seeks School Yearbooks
If you have old yearbooks lying around the house, the Plymouth Historical Society may be interested.
The Plymouth History Museum is in the process of collecting any yearbook featuring Plymouth residents.
The goal is to obtain as many yearbooks as possible so that visitors can look through them to see how styles have changed over the decades or check out old photos of their relatives.
The historical society will accept yearbooks from any year and any school — public or private — associated with Plymouth.
“The best thing about yearbooks is, it’s a choose-your-own adventure,” said Ryan Barland, the Plymouth historical site coordinator. “If you love football, you can look through football pictures. Or if you’re a genealogist, you can look and see grandpa when he was in high school.”
The museum, located in the Old Town Hall building along Fernbrook Lane, is temporarily closed. However, officials hope to reopen it to the public later this summer.
