Plymouth Council Member Alise McGregor Resigns Due to Planned Move
The city of Plymouth will now have not one but two council seats to fill. Council member Alise McGregor announced her resignation, effective immediately, due to her plans to move outside the city.
McGregor has represented Ward 1 in northwest Plymouth since 2019.
CCX News recently caught up with McGregor, who owns YoYo Donuts in Minnetonka.
In her resignation letter, McGregor called serving the city “a great honor filled with making great relationships with many people!”
Her term runs until Jan. 6, 2025.
McGregor joins Jim Davis in recently stepping down. Davis resigned for health reasons.
Plymouth Mayor Jeff Wosje has called a special city council meeting for Monday, Feb. 26, at 6 p.m. to declare the Ward 1 seat vacant and discuss option to fill the seat.
