Plymouth Celebrates Pie Day
The Plymouth Senior Program held its annual Pie Day fundraiser on 3-14, which has become an unofficial holiday of pie.
Nancy Jenson wouldn’t miss this volunteer event, held at the Plymouth Community Center. She’s been volunteering at the fundraiser for nearly 15 years.
“We have apple and cherry, berry pie, coconut creme, banana creme, lemon meringue, French silk,” said Jenson. “The choice is yours.”
The most popular? Jenson says coconut creme and banana creme were popular picks this year.
Money raised at the event goes toward senior programming in Plymouth.
