Pedestrian Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries After Struck on Hwy. 252
A St. Cloud man suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car as he tried to cross Highway 252 in Brooklyn Park over the weekend.
The incident happened at the intersection of Brookdale Drive and Highway 252 around 11:30 Saturday night.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a 26-year-old Burnsville man driving a Buick Encore was heading north on Hwy. 252 when he struck a pedestrian crossing the intersection.
The 34-year-old man who was hit suffered life-threatening injuries. He was taken to North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale.
Authorities say alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash. The state patrol is investigating the incident.
