Osseo School Superintendent Named Finalist for Anoka-Hennepin Top Job
Osseo School District Superintendent Cory McIntyre has been named a finalist for the top job at Anoka-Hennepin schools.
McIntyre has been superintendent of Osseo Area Schools since 2019. Before that he spent three years in the Anoka-Hennepin School District as an assistant superintendent and director of student support services.
The other finalist is Jeffery Ridlehoover, superintendent of Sartell-St. Stephen Schools. Ridlehoover also spent nine years as an assistant principal at Wayzata High School.
The preferred candidate is expected to be announced by Dec. 7 and is expected to begin service on July 1, 2023.
Anoka-Hennepin Superintendent Process
Before a candidate is selected, the two finalists will participate in a day-long series of focus groups with students and staff.
Members of the public are invited to meet the candidate on the day of their interview and provide feedback from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. during an open community meeting held at the district’s Educational Services Center (ESC), located at 2727 N. Ferry ST. in Anoka, enter at Door 7. The school board will hold a special meeting to review feedback from focus groups and conduct the second interview session beginning at 7:15 p.m.
