Osseo Students Awarded $5K by Moe123 Scholarship Fund
A group of students from Osseo Area Schools were honored over the weekend for their dedication to academics and service to their community.
Eight students representing Park Center, Osseo and Maple Grove High Schools gathered at Edinburgh USA Golf Course on Saturday to receive the Moe123 Scholarship.
Christina Corniea of Osseo Senior High, (and her mom), hold up a check from the Moe123 Scholarship Fund.
Each received $5,000 to help pay for college tuition and expenses.
The Moe123 Scholarship Fund was established in 2019 by the family of 1998 Park Center alumnus Mostafa Sarim, who died from the flu at age 41.
The scholarship fund has awarded $90,000 to Osseo students since its inception.
The 2021 Moe123 Scholarship recipients are:
