Osseo School Superintendent Among Candidates for Anoka-Hennepin Job
The Anoka-Hennepin School Board narrowed down its search for superintendent to five candidates, one of which is the current superintendent of Osseo Area Schools, Cory McIntyre.
Candidates will be interviewed this week and the preferred candidate is expected to be announced as soon as Dec. 6.
McIntyre has been the superintendent of Osseo Area Schools since 2019.
Other candidates that will be interviewed for the position include Jeffrey Ridlehoover, current superintendent of Sartell-St. Stephen; Yeu Vang, current assistant superintendent in St. Paul Public Schools; Matthew Gutierrez, current superintendent of Seguin Independent School District in Seguin, Tex.; and Teri Staloch, education consultant and former superintendent of Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools.
The School Board is expected to name finalists following the interviews and then go through another round of interviews on Dec. 5, 6, and 7. The decision on a preferred candidate is expected on Dec. 6 or 7.
The new superintendent is expected to begin service on July 1, 2023.
