Osseo Plans Holiday Parade
A group of citizens joined with the city to plan a parade that will roll through most of the city on Wednesday, Dec. 23.
Organizers say they just wanted to bring a bit of Christmas cheer to the city.
“See smiles on kids that are so bored with COVID and staying home and not getting to see friends. So, just to see smiles on everyone’s face and social distancing at the same time,” said Elizabeth Booth, one of the organizers.
The annual Minidazzle celebration has been canceled. However, a small parade will roll from city hall starting at 5:15 p.m. and cover much of the city. Santa Claus will be featured as well as elves, the Grinch, and other Christmas collaborators.
Booth says everyone pitched in to help on extremely short notice.
