Osseo Plans for a Green Future
The city of Osseo’s comprehensive plan points to making the city walk-able, ensuring access to healthy food and a variety of housing types. Osseo is largely already there, with a grocery store and new apartments located near City Hall. City Planner Nancy Abts says the plan is to make sure those things stick around.
“We certainly don’t want to lose anything that we have in town,” says Abts. “It’s important that we plan for future changes that we’re also able to preserve the important things that make Osseo the community that it is.”
Future goals include more housing and better connections to transit.
