Osseo Places Temporary Moratorium on Sale of THC Products
Osseo is the latest city to approve a moratorium on the sale of THC products, while officials more closely study how to regulate them.
THC is the active ingredient in marijuana. The state legislature made it legal to sell certain THC products starting July 1.
Cities like Osseo are discussing whether to have a licensing process similar to how they handle tobacco sales. Some cities, like Robbinsdale, have opted for a temporary moratorium while Golden Valley has started work on zoning and licensing.
