Osseo City Council Member Takes Leave of Absence, Cites Medical Reasons
At the last Osseo City Council meeting, the city attorney announced that council member Juliana Hultstrom would not be attending council meetings for the foreseeable future. Hultstrom told CCX News she needed to step away because of medical reasons.
Under state law, if a council member cannot attend the council meetings for a 90-day period, the council has the option to declare a vacancy and appoint someone to fill the position either until the council member can return or for the remainder of the term.
Hultstrom is currently serving her first term on the Osseo City Council. It expires in 2022.
