One Person Hospitalized, Another Arrested in Late-Night Stabbing
Brooklyn Park police officers responded to a late-night stabbing Sunday that resulted in one person being taken to the hospital, police said.
According to police, Brooklyn Park officers responded shortly after 11:45 p.m. Sunday to a report of a fight in the 7400 block of 71st Ave. N. Upon arrival, officers located an adult victim with “significant” stab wounds, police said.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital and is expected to survive, police said in a department news alert.
Meanwhile, a suspect was arrested near the scene and taken into custody without further incident, police said.
No further details were immediately released on what led up to the stabbing.
The case remains under investigation.
