North Hennepin Nature Immersion Course Earns Statewide Recognition
A nature immersion class that debuted at North Hennepin Community College last fall has been recognized with an environmental initiative award.
The eight-week, four credit college program tries to engage students in nature that might not otherwise have experience in the outdoors. See story here.
The award is part of a statewide recognition program that “celebrates people and projects working at the nexus of a healthy environment, a prosperous economy and an equitable society.”
