Noodles & Co. Shutters Crystal Restaurant
The city of Crystal has lost one of its fast casual restaurants. CCX News confirmed that Noodles & Co. closed its West Broadway location on Wednesday.
Closed signs are now up at the restaurant.
Noodles opened the Crystal location in 2015. Its lease at the Crystal Gallery shopping center was set to expire at the end of the month.
In a statement to CCX News, city officials say they will work with the mall owner to fill the space.
“We will certainly work with the mall owner in any way we can to see that space filled with a new business, but ultimately it is up to the mall owner to decide on a new tenant if Noodles does close,” read a statement provided by John Sutter, Crystal’s community development director.
The Crystal site is leased by Mid-America Real Estate Group, which also lists six other nearby spaces available for lease.
The Noodles space, located next to Starbucks, is approximately 2,500 square feet, plus a 500-square-foot outdoor dining patio.
Noodles still has other locations in the northwest metro, including Golden Valley, Maple Grove and Plymouth.
