NHCC Showcases Best Student Art of 2025
It’s the perfect time of year to visit North Hennepin Community College and experience a world of creativity.
The college is hosting the 2025 Student Art Show featuring 105 juried art pieces.
The show features a wide variety of student art, including fashion and graphic design pieces to something new: video art.
“I think when you come through the doors here at the gallery, you get a little window on what interests each and every student because oftentimes they will make drawings or paintings or photographs of the things that they love,” said Gina Dabrowski, gallery director at North Hennepin Community College.
All the work on display was selected by a panel of judges.
Dabrowski said one of the pieces is truly inspiring: a ceramic bowl hand-crafted by student May Spooner, who is blind.
“I think it’s such a beautiful, beautiful piece that has these spring effects with the flowers,” said Dabrowski about Spooner’s work.
