Newsmakers: Sen. Susan Pha Shares Strategies, Bonding Priorities for 2025 Legislative Session
Sen. Susan Pha (DFL-Brooklyn Center) says the 2025 legislative session will look much different without the significant budget surplus of 2023.
“We have to be more conservative and make sure we protect the policies and programs we put in place for Minnesotans,” said Pha.
Top priorities for the session include passing a bonding bill that supports community projects.
“Some of the bonding projects that I am championing this year are the Brooklyn Park Youth Center at Zanewood Community Center, the Brooklyn Center Opportunity Site, and the Osseo Public Safety Facility,” Pha said.
This year Pha will also join the Transportation Committee, along with her other committee assignments on Capital Investment and Housing & Homelessness Prevention.
