New Stores Coming to Maple Grove
Sierra, formerly known as Sierra Trading Post, is coming to the former Lifeway Christian Book store in Maple Grove. The store sells outdoor apparel and is owned by the same company as TJ Maxx, Marshall’s and Home Goods.
This week the city council will decide whether to approve a request to change the elevation of the side of the building Sierra is moving into facing Elm Creek Boulevard.
Other new store development in the works include:
- Urban Wok, a fast-casual Asian eatery, at the Village at Arbor Lakes.
- Planet Fitness is coming to the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes in the space that was recently used by the city of Maple Grove for fitness classes.
- An infrared sauna fitness studio called Hotworx is coming to The Grove
- Phenix Salons will take over the former Pier 1 Imports store.
