New Senior Care Facility Proposed in Crystal, Phoenix Place Opens
Hampton Companies wants to purchase six lots near 35th and Douglas Drive and turn them into a one-story memory care and assisted living facility. There’s currently an office building and single family home on the property. If the proposal goes through, Suite Living Senior Care would feature 32 private suites with 20 as assisted living services and 12 as memory care. A public hearing is scheduled for Monday, January 13. On West Broadway, ResCare remodeled the old Thomas Tool location to become a residential treatment facility called “Phoenix Place.” The voluntary drug and alcohol treatment facility opened up on December 17. ResCare also has offices in Brooklyn Center and St. Paul.
