New Hope’s Hidden Valley Park to Be Spruced Up
The playground at Hidden Valley Park is the oldest in the New Hope park system, and construction on park improvements is expected to begin this spring. The park is located at 32nd and Boone avenues.
The New Hope City Council approved plans for the improvements at the March 28 meeting. The playground will be replaced and the path leading from the trail to each container will be replaced too. There will be pads installed for two benches and a picnic table. A retaining wall will also be installed.
The city engaged neighbors for this project.
The total cost of the project is estimated to be $318,262 and the project is expected to be awarded in early May with construction beginning thereafter.
