New Hope Police Investigate Bus Shooting
New Hope police continue to investigate a shooting that occurred on a bus. It happened just after 9 p.m. Thursday near 42nd and Gettysburg Avenues North. Police say a man was shot in the leg. As of Friday afternoon, no arrests had been made. However, police say there’s “no known danger to the public.”
According to New Hope authorities, the man was taken to North Memorial Health Hospital. The man’s injuries are not life threatening, police said. Nobody else was injured in the incident.
The bus was operated by First Transit, a company under contract with the Metropolitan Council to operate route 717.
