New Hope Convenience Store Opening ‘A Dream Come True’ for Father-Son Duo
New Hope Super Stop celebrated its opening Friday bringing fresh vibrancy to a long vacant street corner.
The site at Bass Lake Road and Winnetka Avenue had been vacant for more than three years. Pardit Sandhu and his son, Paul Sandhu, renovated the store for the past nine months.
“Coming up here to Minnesota from Iowa where we used to live and renovating this gas station, getting it ready to open to the public and serve the community and just provide a variety of great products, it’s a dream come true,” said Paul Sandhu.
According to city officials, the family invested $350,000 to revitalize the property.
A ribbon cutting for the business was held Friday.
New Hope Super Stop offers a variety of grab-and-go options, including personal-sized pizzas, chicken tenders and sandwiches, and breakfast items.
