Mural Painting Underway on Sound Wall in Robbinsdale
Muralist Tony Stafki is halfway finished with a new mural that’s going up on a Highway 100 sound wall outside of the Reeve Apartments. There’s only a few pops of purple on the mural, which are a nod to the Highway 100 nickname, the Lilac Way.
“I think it’s actually interesting that we’re just doing the white outlines of it with just a little bit of color,” explained Stafki. “It also lets people’s minds fill in the rest of the colors which is kind of fun.”
Stafki says there will be flowers on about 150 feet of wall space, with 14 or 15 sets of flowers every ten feet or so.
