MSHSL Cancels Remaining High School Tournaments

The girls and boys basketball tournaments are now off. After playing in front of fans Thursday, then deciding to play in front of a limited audience, the Minnesota State High School League has now decided to cancel remaining postseason games in the girls tournament. The boys section and state basketball tournaments are also canceled, an official with the MSHSL said.

Updated statement from the Minnesota State High School League:

Amid growing concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic, the remainder of the girls state basketball tournament and boys section/state basketball tournaments have been canceled. The safety of all concerned is paramount.
