Minneapolis Park Board to Repaint Victory Memorial Parkway After ‘Wobbly Lines’
Walkers, bikers and runners along Victory Memorial Parkway noticed the lines were more than a bit off last week. People shared social media posts remarking on the lines that you could describe as ‘wobbly.’
After pictures went viral last week of wobbly lines on Victory Memorial Parkway, the Minneapolis Park Board says the striping would be repaired. By Monday, the lines had been painted over in black paint.
Oof! If you happen to be walking or biking on Victory Memorial Parkway paths this evening and notice some wobbly lines, it’s not you! Striping was completed by a contractor today that does not meet our standards/specs. It will be covered and re-striped to MPRB standards ASAP.
