Minneapolis Man Dies in Vehicle Crash on I-94 in Golden Valley
A Minneapolis man died in a car crash on Interstate 94 near Highway 55 in Golden Valley on Wednesday just before midnight.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the deceased driver as Shivnarine Samogan, 26, from Minneapolis.
The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash, but a report says that the vehicle was traveling north on Interstate 94 approaching Olson Memorial Highway. The report says the vehicle lost control and swerved across traffic before exiting the roadway to the east and then hitting a light pole.
