Micholandia Ice Cream Shop Opens in Brooklyn Center
A Brooklyn Center shopping center now offers special treats. Micholandia Ice Cream celebrated its grand opening on Friday.
The business has dozens of different paletas, ice cream flavors and Mexican snacks. Owner Ali Madow says customers are getting a quality product.
“We make our ice cream with love and care and we leave our customers satisfied,” said Madow.
Paletas are among the offerings at Micholandia. The store is located at 1360 Shingle Creek Pkwy in Brooklyn Center.
Meanwhile, staff members also say they’re happy with the location in the Shingle Creek Crossing shopping center. The area is working to overcome challenges, including crime.
“I’m 100 percent satisfied with this location, the community, what it has to offer,” said Ali Madow, the owner of Micholandia. “It is a high traffic area for us. We like the people we engage with throughout the day.”
The store also offers more than ice cream and snacks. Madow says that starting in October, customers will also be able to purchase crepes.
