Medical Device Firm Juno Pacific Plans Move to Brooklyn Park
Medical device manufacturer Juno Pacific, which currently operates in Anoka, wants to relocate to Brooklyn Park near the intersection of Highways 610 and 169.
The company says it will invest $40 million in the move and is requesting $800,000 of DEED job incentive funds. To receive the state funds, Juno Pacific would commit to keeping the 150 jobs it currently has and create 62 more over the next two years.
Starting wages range from around $15 per hour and then go to $35-40 per hour. A representative from the company told the council that engineers and technical staff are above that.
The city council did approve applying for the DEED funding for this project. You can listen to the discussion here.
