Maple Grove’s ‘Restaurant Week’ Kicks Off Aug. 10
Maple Grove, which is also known as the Restaurant Capital of Minnesota, is kicking off its second annual Restaurant Week on Sunday, Aug. 10.
“There’s a lot happening in Maple Grove starting Sunday,” said Anne Anderson, general manager of Experience Maple Grove. “Sunday here at The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes, we’re having a kick-off event for Restaurant Week. We’ll have live music. We’ll have dunk tanks with a bunch of restaurant owners.”
Thirty restaurants are participating in Restaurant Week this year.
The week-long event will feature a variety of discounts and daily specials from places like Omni Brewing and Brick & Bourbon (among others) to help showcase the wide array of food and beverage offerings within the city.

Folks can download a Restaurant Week passport from Experience Maple Grove’s website. If you visit six restaurants, you could win a visit from the Lookout Bar & Grill’s food truck
“People like to eat out in Maple Grove. It’s a great spot,” said Anderson. “You can walk from shops to restaurants, there’s just so many different varieties here. And you know what, it gets people here. It gets people talking about Maple Grove.”
Restaurant Week wraps up on Saturday, Aug. 16 with a concert from Kat Perkins at The Lookout Bar & Grill.
