Maple Grove’s Clinic Sofia Expands to Meet Growing Demand
A Maple Grove clinic known for helping to deliver thousands of babies recently underwent a massive expansion, due in large part to the growth in the area.
In January, Clinic Sofia moved into a new, stand-alone building, across the street from Maple Grove Hospital.
The 6,000 square foot building is double the size of the original location, which was in the strip mall next door.
The new OBGYN clinic offers more patient rooms, an emphasis on outside lighting to create a space that feels modern and more inviting, and furniture designed for maximum patient comfort.
“It makes it fun and exciting to come in, especially when we know that our patients don’t feel stressed about coming into a doctor’s office,” said Dr. Pam Jordi, an OBGYN at Clinic Sofia. “We try to take that away and make it more inviting, take away just that one aspect when we can.”
In addition to being able to serve more patients, the new building also allowed Clinic Sofia to hire additional staff.
