Maple Grove WWII Veteran Turns 100
A local World War II veteran celebrated a significant milestone on Friday. Everett Miller celebrated his 100th birthday at his senior living residence in Maple Grove.
SilverCreek on Main threw a big party to celebrate this significant milestone.
Miller served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. When asked about his secret to longevity, he didn’t take any of the credit.
“It’s nothing that I did, so it’s got to be something that God is doing,” Miller said.
Everett’s family was on hand to help celebrate. To commemorate this occasion, Miller says he plans to drink a nice cup of coffee.
