Maple Grove Preps for Restaurant Week
Mark your calendars: the self-proclaimed “Restaurant Capital of Minnesota” will have a special week of discounts and entertainment.
Aug. 12-18 is Maple Grove’s first-ever restaurant week.
“There’s events every day,” said Anne Anderson, general manager of Experience Maple Grove. “Monday is music day, Tuesday is kids’ day, Thursday is ladys’ night out.”
Nearly 30 Maple Grove restaurants are participating in restaurant week. The city’s marketing organization, Experience Maple Grove, organized the event to showcase all the food and drink options Maple Grove has to offer.
If you eat at four participating restaurants, you could win a big prize.
“Make sure to get your passports, because this is how you win the ultimate shopping, dining, playing and staying package — which is a round of golf at Rush Creek, a shopping spree, some dining and a hotel stay at the Holiday Inn,” Anderson said.
The diner passports are available at each participating restaurant.
That list of restaurants, along with information about the week’s specials, are on the Experience Maple Grove website.
