Maple Grove Indoor Farmers Market Kicks Off Feb. 27
An annual tradition begins this week in Maple Grove that gives people a chance to shop local.
The indoor farmers market kicks off Thursday afternoon, Feb. 27, at the Maple Grove Community Center.
More than 20 vendors will be on hand selling items such as baked goods, mushrooms, meat and hand-crafted jewelry.

Maple Grove’s Indoor Farmers Market will take place every other Thursday at the Maple Grove Community Center through April 24.
“It’s just a great avenue for people to come and show off their amazing food, their local produce,” said Rohee Hecht, Maple Grove’s recreation coordinator. “You know, farmers work so incredibly hard to provide food, and this is just such a great outlet and a lovely place for them to come and sell.”
The indoor farmers market takes place every other Thursday through April 24 from 3 to 6 p.m.
Meanwhile, the outdoor farmers market begins on May 8 at the Church of the Open Door.
