Maple Grove Fitness Center Celebrates Grand Reopening
The owner of Burn Boot Camp in Maple Grove credits a dedicated membership as one of the reasons why the fitness center continues to be open, despite several challenges from the pandemic.
“It’s really forced everyone to pivot, work a little more creatively if they wanted to weather the storm,” said Tina Hegna, owner of Burn Boot Camp. “I’m happy and proud that we’ve been able to do that.”
Hegna describes the franchise as personal training in a group setting with different workouts for different fitness levels. See that story here.
Burn Boot Camp reopened a few months ago, but it’s still not back to normal operations. The fitness center offered virtual workouts when it was shut down due to COVID-19 business restrictions and then moved workouts outdoors. Hegna says they plan to continue offering virtual workouts for the foreseeable future.
As far as in-house workouts, Hegna says they clean “all the time.”
“Every camp, we are cleaning down everything that was touched,” she said.
Instructors and clients also wear masks when they are in the building, except when they are working out.
